Web Functional Designer

Proteus Europe is searching for a FRENCH AND DUTCH SPEAKING Web Functional Designer, to begin a 12 month contract in the stunning city of Brussels.

Our Client:-
Our client is a large player in the insurance industry. The company is based in the heart of Brussels, Belgium.

Your New role:-

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL SPEAK BOTH DUTCH AND FRENCH (ONE FLUENT, THE OTHER BASIC AT LEAST)

The candidate will work in the IS Web Team. He/She will be responsible for the functional design and the delivery of projects. The candidate will be responsible for the solution setup,

the functional follow-up of the realization to lead the projects to their successful
implementation.

Objective of the job:

-Communication and synchronization with project leader and project board members
-Collaboration with the architecture teams and the team leaders of the different domains impacted or involved in the project for the scoping and estimation of the project
-Adequate communication and reporting to the management (both IT and Business) on the project progress
-Test and assess the project implementation

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills :-
-YOU WILL SPEAK BOTH DUTCH AND FRENCH (ONE FLUENT, THE OTHER BASIC AT LEAST)
-Experience in web and functional design
-Combination of technical training plus 2 years' experience/knowledge of web development and/or management required.
-Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft .Net

applications including Sharepoint.
-Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. And their impact on project activities is vital.
-Demonstrated ability to establish a good design
-Demonstrated experience in leading an implementation
-Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
-Proven experience in implementation of project with web orientation
-Planning and estimation skills and techniques
-Project indicators (Earned Value Analysis)
-Highlight reporting

Desirable Skills:-
-Interest for Business Process Analysis
-Experience in functional Architecture (trough projects)
-Good knowledge of insurance processes
