Web Development Team Lead

My client, a leading software development and business solutions company based in Brisbane, is looking for a Web Development Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the web development department.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- At least 5 years developing excellent online experiences
- Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with
- PHP
- HTML5
- CSS
- JavaScript
- CMS systems
- Knowledge is highly desirable:
- Wordpress
- Drupal - Very strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Effective communicator at all levels.
- Time management skills.
- Strong people skills
- Experience with revision control systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Leading the Web Development Team
- Provide mentoring and development
- Perform regular catch up's with Web Developers
- Carry out team One on Ones
- Carry out team EDP's
- Monitoring of the team's performance through the Performance Measurement Process (PMP)
- In conjunction with the People & Career Manager, undertake performance management where applicable.
- Ensure that staff training is adequate and appropriate.
- Complete web projects as required.
- Provide technical support for Web Development Team.
- Provide assistance and support with internal product maintenance and development
