Web Development Manager

My expanding private sector orgainsation are embarking on a new programme to enhance their Web presence, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

Must have :

Previously managed a ground up website development or at least a major website refresh

Understand website development lifecycles from design, development(function and content), testing, implementation

Online Pre-Sales and Marketing application experience in a commercial environment

A good appreciation of Branding and its role in a website

Understand the tools and technologies in a professional grade, robust website

good understanding of B2C and B2B environment

Understand best practice in website structures and features

Understand the value and approaches to UX design and optimisation

Good planning skills

Structured approach

Good with influencing and managing people

Good communication skills

Understand the value of version control

Have management credibility, gravitas

Enthusiasm

Resilience

Low importance

Does not need to be eCommerce/eShop focussed

Does not need to be sales transaction focussed

Should not be a web developer
