We are looking for outstanding Web Development Engineer to join our clients WW Transportation Team. This is your chance to build interactive web experiences that will support operations teams globally. Successful candidates will have solved complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and best practices, building websites that engaged and performed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of software development experience
- LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) architecture
- Experience in XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques
- Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (eg YUI, DOJO, JQuery, Prototype, etc.)
- Experience in a Unix/Linux environment
- Experience in a website production and publishing environment with understanding of web production process and publishing platforms
- Experience working with SharePoint 2007/2010 content management systems, creating and managing web applications, workflows, integration with custom applications
- HTML skills and understanding of technical concepts and application logic
- Knowledge of SharePoint architectural design, Web Parts development, management, and troubleshooting
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
- Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles
- Ability to provide detailed specifications, mockups/prototypes, and style guides
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- OO design and coding skills in Java
- Passion for creating efficient, scalable web interfaces
- Familiarity with Scripting languages (eg PHP, Ruby) a plus
- Experience in Struts, Swing or JSP
- Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Genuine excitement about technology, strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI
- Must be a self-starter and motivated
- Mastery of the principals of design, typography, color theory, and graphics file creation optimized for the web
- Knowledge of DHTML and Flash
- Unwavering attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way
- Strong knowledge of current web design trends and user-centered techniques
- Knowledge and experience with cross-browser and cross-platform design issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced online environment
- Willingness and desire to re-examine what you know in order to continually challenge your creativity
