Web Developer/Web Designer/Website Coordinator

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard working individual who is keen to gain vital website experience. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential for the right candidate to progress this role into a permanent position. (6 month contract £10,000/permanent role £20,000 p/a)

Joining their busy marketing team, you will be instrumental in bridging the knowledge gap between the website and marketing functions.

Accustomed to building professional websites, you will put your skills to good practice, as you help to design and develop a technical information website. Providing an interactive web portal, you will utilise your knowledge of website languages (HTML, CSS, and PHP) to coordinate and upload helpful information onto the new site. With up to date knowledge of web communications, you will be quick to identify SEO, SEM and key trends in line with best practices and encourage a better understanding of website analytics for colleagues.

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS NEW AND EXCITING ROLE?

An abundance of enthusiasm with an appetite for hard work will hold you in good stead and you will be keen to mould this opportunity into a more permanent role, as you grow with the company. In this environment you will need a relevant degree (Web Development/Design/IT) and will have a good understanding of web content management systems, including WordPress. Logical and methodical, you will analyse spreadsheets, databases and systems and produce statistical data based on the traffic patterns across our client's websites.
