What You'll Be Doing

With World Challenge growing at a fast pace globally we are looking to employ several Web Developers to help deliver the new strategy and vision. This includes building and implementing Web technology solutions to extend our in-house reservations system. This system is used by over 120 employees around the world and serves content to upwards of 30,000 users via company website .

Working with the Systems Development Manager and other Developers, you will be designing new web interfaces, writing the code and implementing these across various departments within the business in the UK and Internationally.

You will also be supporting and improving our range of existing systems built with MSSQL, PHP, Visual FoxPro and ASP Classic, which are either designed in-house or based on Laravel.

The IT project is expected to last at least 2 years and you will initially be on a 6 month rolling contract.

What We Are Looking For:

Essential

- HTML5, CSS, JS knowledge
- Previous experience with PHP and SQL
- Previous experience working in a development team

Desirable

- Experience of using 3 or more of the following technologies:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Windows IIS
- Classic ASP/VBScript
- jQuery
- Visual Foxpro
- Version control (Git)
- Package management (Composer)
- REST/SOAP API's (JSON/XML)
- Unit testing (PHPUnit)
- Responsive design experience
- Experience of using MVC development frameworks
- CMS experience

Basic Salary:
Junior up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Senior up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
