Web Developer/Designer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Web Developer/Designer for our client in Brussels -

Your New role:-

- Design/build mockups and prototypes based on the Council design guide
- Designs, develops and maintains graphics and layouts for web application
- Create entire UI/UX for web with responsive design
- Brainstorm and collaborate with team members on concept development
- Work closely with the development team to test new functionality
- Pro-actively seek out and recommend new concepts to improve content and performance

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-

- Candidate must be able to present portfolio of related design work
- Full time for 5 months (starting ASAP)
- At least 3-5 years of digital creative and production experience
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS3, with an emphasis on writing clean, compliant code
- Ability to work on a website collaboratively with a team of developers using GIT repositories
- Experience using frameworks such as Bootstrap is a plus
- Experience with creating responsive web designs for mobile platforms
- A solid understanding of UI best practices
- CSS systems such as LESS and SASS to compile style files
- PHP include function to manage common elements
- Subversion or other version control system
