Web Developer/Designer

The largest UK seller of theatre tickets, with millions of transactions per year and

millions of hits per month, specialising in providing white label and XML/JSON integrated

services to many clients are looking for a Web Developer/ Designer!

About the Role:

Work in the expanding Web Development team which provides excellence development services to the business. Always aiming to deliver solutions following best practices. Many interesting projects re in place e.g. creating mobile sites and apps, solving complex problems faced by a whitelabel system. The candidate must have design skills and be able to produce a full website design.

Technical Ability:

Must have Knowledge on the following:

* Web Design, Icon Design &Branding

* Responsive Web DEsign

* Basic PHP

* Javascript/JQuery

* HTML5

* CSS3(SASS/LESS)

*SEO Knowledge

Nice to haves:

* Drupal 6/7 CMS

* Experience with Agile methodology and working within Agile development teams

* OO JavaScript, using either raw JS or frameworks like Backbone (or something similar)

* Practical application of SEO

* Worked with issue/bug tracking systems

* Responsive websites

* Outstanding AJAX knowledge

* UX/UI

* CSS3

* node.js

General

Should be passionate and keep up with the latest web technologies.

SALARY: £40K
