Web Developer ASP.NET

This is an excellent opportunity with a highly motivated team dedicated to identifying, implementing, and supporting the best financial reporting solutions in order to create useful, timely decision support tools and processes for the Finance division of the leading software corporation.

We are looking for a strong individual who will work on a special project to design and deliver a Change Management web-based solution. The solution not only houses and supports metadata requirements, but also provides a complete workflow during different phases of data collection, approvals, governance and business and operations processes throughout the financial year.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing enterprise applications using web technologies and has intermediate to advance level experience and knowledge in database design concepts along with T-SQL programming, Stored Procedure design and query performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide rationalization and analysis of requirements with a team of project managers, business groups along with team of developers and other team members.
- Work closely with other UI and database Back End developers on the team for optimum overall design plan and prioritization of work items.
- Co-ordinate and work on assigned UI design tasks (includes but not limited to various Web Forms design, reports, notifications, error handling/logging, security related code, and implementation, package design etc.). This will require unit testing in development environment.
- Work with testers within the team and assist in overall detailed testing plan.
- Ensure integrity of all processes and data in the application
- Implement business controls/audits and review to ensure overall quality of the application design.
- Understand the various dependencies and relationships across internal scorecarding, business processes
- Leverage solid understanding of different flavors and models of SDLC.
- Proactively challenge existing processes and implement changes as needed.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis, support, and solutions as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Systems with 2-4 years relevant experience required
- Strong system analysis skills and experience
- Web development in ASP.NET, HTML5, Client Scripting/JavaScript and programming skills in C# a must
- Strong MS SQL knowledge, T-SQL Programming, Stored Procedure and function design desired
- Strong overall understanding of relational database/MS SQL (SQL Server 2005. 2008), database design, RI implementation and query performance desired
- SharePoint (2007/2010) portal development, web parts development and configuration a plus
- Exceptional communication skills - written, oral, interpersonal
- Ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, and prioritize under pressure
- Strong problem solving ability and ability to utilize experience to improve processes and proactively drive opportunities to resolution without supervision
- Working knowledge of the SDLC and associated processes
- High attention to detail and ability to work within stringent deadlines
- Strong understanding of financial processes
