Web Developer - 18 Month Fixed term Contract

Having recently invested in its IT development function Anglia Farmers are again looking to add further resource to their small yet strong team supporting and improving their in-house, web-based CRM system. We are looking for a Web Developer for an 18 month fixed term contract which could possibly lead to a permanent position.

Reporting to the AF Support Manager you will work with various parts of the business to translate requests into appropriate software solutions, working on both new and existing projects. This role involves full-life cycle development incorporating Microsoft technologies to develop online systems and websites. The position also requires the developer to identify areas where software can improve the efficiency of the business, making sure Anglia Farmers are kept up to date with the latest technology and trends.

Therefore to be successful in your application you will require proven knowledge of Front End technologies including CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript as well as experience with C#.Net and SQL Server with a strong interest in promoting Test-driven Development. Previous experience with modern software project environments such as Agile would also be beneficial.
