OVERVIEW OF BUSINESS AREA OR PROJECT:
Risk Management and Portfolio Optimization platform
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gathering the UI Requirements and create GUI designs
- Collaborate with peer technology team, requirements engineers, delivery project managers, and business experts
- Timely Implementation of GUI requirements against the IT product roadmap.
CHALLENGES CONTRACTOR WILL BE FACING IN THIS ROLE:
Very busy & somewhat pressured environment, must be able to work as part of a team as well as in a very independent manner.
ESSENTIALS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven track record in UI Technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, LESS, SVG, REST services
- Proficient in Framework & Tools like Angular JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, BOWER, GRUNT and NPM.
- Experience in Mock-up tools (BALSAMIQ).
- Good Understanding of Visualization Principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of UX design with experience in UI rendering in desktop and handheld devices.
- Ability to create attractive UI's with consistent content and appearance in the Front End
- Extensive knowledge of responsive data visualisation user interface design
- Bachelor studies in technical discipline from renowned university (computer science)
- Experience of Agile practices and processes (eg SCRUM, KANBAN)
- An open mind and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Knowledge of Data analysis BI or similar as related to web design
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Currently there is a .NET Back End but we are looking for someone who is creative & not tied to anyone technology but keen to use state of the art IT to produce clear, attractive & highly functional web designs.
