WEB DEVELOPER 

JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: 

The Web Content Manager participates in providing content system enhancement and maintenance support for client's Web presence (specifically business and consumer NETs). This work primarily involves fulfilling content requests (HTML, CSS, Content Authoring and Deployments) The Web Content Manager works closely with technical resources to produce robust content management capabilities for use by employees and vendors in delivering the content and applications on client's web presence. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Works as a liaison cross-functionally to provide subject matter expert ise on content deployments, authoring strategies, and custom content. 
- Content authoring activities and responsible for content management system and assists with deployments and releases.  
- Ensures all customer-facing material is implemented correctly and efficiently and defects are completed  per SLA timelines. 
- Writes Technical requirements work that requires development team's engagement and support; Participates in Agile/SCRUM and provides development support for content deliverables. 
- May provide support for SEO and appropriate tagging 
- Manages multiple projects/assignments involving business critical or compliance mandated requirements; often with competing priorities. 
- Provides troubleshooting, training, and support to business users with access to update their own content 
- May be involved in user requirements definition for TeamSite. 
- May also be responsible for analysis of existing content business processes, design and implementation of streamlined content publishing processes. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

- 3+ years experience implementing web content using a content management system editing site templates, publishing content files to tiered environments, testing online content in various browsers, JavaScript SitePublisher, MetaTagger, MediaBin are a plus) 
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and with little supervision 
- Proven track record of consistently demonstrating qualities of diplomacy, problem solving and decisiveness within a highly matrixed/consensus driven environment  
- Proven ability to balance many needs and remain detail-oriented while tracking and organizing many project tasks. 
- Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. 
- Experience with IBM WebShpere Portal or like Middleware, JSP, and JavaScript a plus

8-5 pm M - F or 7:30 -4:30
