Web Developer

Our client is the world's most recognizable software brand seeking a Web Developer for an excellent contract opportunity. This Developer will work with a small team of developers, designer and project manager to create web services.

OVERVIEW

- Implements database driven interactive content, customized information retrieval and Client Server programmability
- Supports the team in utilizing current and emerging script technologies by working closely with production staff on a project basis
- Responsible for overall design, development and team coordination of high traffic websites under deadline pressure
- Communicates standards, defends technology and scopes decisions to information technology management and development teams

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of HTML, SQL, VB or C/C++ required
- Minimum 4+ years ASP.NET/C#/Visual Studio,.NET Framework 3.0 and above
- Experience building Web Services (WCF)
- Experience developing with SharePoint Services
- Knowledge of Internet technologies including Windows NT, IIS
- Configuring and deploying SharePoint 2010 or 2013 preferred
- Experience shipping one or more commercial products preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Site Server preferred
- Knowledge of IPS, ISAPI may be required
- Experience with security implementation may be required
- Demonstrated experience developing web sites using the latest technology, for example, DHTML and JavaScript
- Experience in graphics, layout and design required
- Strong communication skills along with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment required
- Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player
- Demonstrated experience with project planning and excellent project management skills required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field may be required.

This is a short term contract position.
