Do you want to work with the latest web technologies?
IT Alliance, an IT Services Provider, are looking to hire a Web Developer on behalf of a multinational software company based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Act as the technical intermediary between external content providers, commercial partners and the editorial team.
Design, develop and maintain user experiences using exiting publishing tools, producing new pages, sections and packages.
Overseeing technical projects.
Coordinate the deployment of platform and feature upgrades.
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues such as missing content and ad issues.
Liaise with the editorial team to drive best practice in their use of the publishing platform.
Provide support to the sales teams in terms of feasibility of project proposals.
Requirements:
At least 3 years commercial experience in web design and development.
At least 2 years' experience of creating online content.
Strong understanding of the web and digital content.
Experience of CMS.
Must have strong knowledge and experience of XML and HTML.
Must have an understanding of Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge of Internet measurement metrics including streams, page views, unique users and click - thru.
Must be able to communicate at both a technical and non-technical level.
Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Must have strong problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to set and meet deadlines.
Ability to work on multiple projects across cross-functional teams.
