 WEB DESGINER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MINNETONKA, MN.

- Adobe Creative Suite
- UI design fundamentals and creative principles
- Responsive web design

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Learn the site architecture of the Recruiting Marketing Platform
- Design websites that reflect an effective, cohesive user experience and support the client's strategic recruiting goals.
- Ensure sites adhere to brand requirements including style-guides, layout, imaging, and customization.
- Provide implementation recommendations that are both creatively diverse and sustainable for future maintenance.
- Provide Front End recommendations on interaction and visual design for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Help identify and implement industry-specific web design best practices.
- Optimize image assets and graphics to hand-off to web developers.
- Respond to project requests in a timely and proficient manner.
- Build rapport and credibility with internal team, partners, and clients.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Associate's Degree in Web Design or Graphic Design or 1-3 years relevant work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Experience with Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Edge Reflow is a plus.
- Understanding of responsive web design, grid systems, layout, asset production, and typography.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
- A solid portfolio of web design projects
- Knowledge of UI design fundamentals and creative principles.
- Excellent organizational ability with close attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of and experience with CSS and XHTML
- Positive and proactive work ethic, "can-do" attitude with a demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and switch gears as needed.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to stay up-to-date on the latest web technologies and best practices
- Ability to be both a collaborative team player as well as strong, reliable self-starter and individual contributor

BONUS POINTS:

- Experience with Responsive Web Design
- Experience designing for Mobile Web Design
- Experience with Adobe Edge Reflow
- Ability to code XHTML and CSS
- Knowledge of desktop (IE 8+, Firefox 4+, Chrome, Opera 12+) on Windows XP+ and Mac OS X, and mobile browsers on smartphones and tablets (Android, iOS)
- Experience in creating and implementing processes surrounding file storage and standardization
- High-level understanding of SEO as it is related to design
