ROLE
The Web Designer/HTML Developer/UI Designer/UI Architect is a central member of the product's IT and marketing teams. Your talents will drive the quality of the customer's online relationship experience, as well, as the quality of marketing collateral. We are looking for a thought leader that is a true blend of creative and technology talent. You must have the ability to adapt easily to fluid requirements and feedback. You must also have experience in user-centered design.

You will be part of a start-up, highly-visible internal team and opportunity for rapid advancement as the product grows. Additionally, the product's unique structure, including its deep integration with social media, will enable fresh and creative technology and marketing options. - Design and maintain highly trafficked consumer web sites.
- Design and develop ( in HTML ) mock-ups of new product features for customer research and validation
- Design and develop banner ads and rich media ads
- Create and maintain landing pages for online campaigns
- Develop and create marketing emails
- Optimize design creative for SEO and varying bandwidth/platform specifications required
- Develop internal company creative
- Support product creative

REQUIRED

- You MUST understand and be able to do the UI DESIGN. You MUST have the creative component as well as be able to build the HTML, JavaScript & CSS code to get the design to the developers who will do all the Back End work
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, design, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with tools like Optimizely, ClickTale, Omniture, Compendium, and Exact Target
- Experience designing and developing within Facebook highly desirable
- Experience designing web applications critical
- HTML/CSS (2+ years)
- HTML5 (1+ years)
- JavaScript (2+ years)
- JQuery/AJAX (2+ years)
- Fluent in English
- Java Frameworks: Spring, Velocity (desirable, but not required)

50% of your time will be in Designing, covering the creation of designs for websites, emails, social media platforms, etc

50% of your time will be in Development, building approved UIs
