Web Designer/Developer

We are currently seeking an advanced level Web Designer/Developer with a strong technical background and a high aptitude for learning to work with us on the design and development of multiple projects from inception through post production creating a professional efficient look and feel.

- Adobe Master Collection CS5.5
- Visual Studio 2012/Team Foundation Sever/C#
- MVC/Razor/REST services and/or public APIs
- Strong SQL Server 2012
- Database design
- LINQ and Entity Framework
- .NET platform (.Net Framework versions 4.5)

Desired Knowledge:

- Adobe Flash is a MAJOR plus!
- Benefit Knowledge is a MAJOR plus!
- Mobile or app development experience
- SharePoint Usage
- Web Designer Experience Overview:

Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts for web and print. Must possess graphic design skills, layout skills, creative services, customer focus, creativity, flexibility, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, desktop publishing tools, acute vision, and must be able to work closely with in a team environment.  Extremely proficient in HTML coding and should be able to build a page. Graphic designer has to be experienced using CSS3 and familiar with jQuery and general Java Scripting. Should be able to build mobile functional pages and understand the Responsive Web Design concept. Further, the person should have an understanding of the differences among browser versions in rendering HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Developer Experience Overview:

Will be a key member of the development team, responsible for designing, developing, and testing software in a multi-platform environment using cutting-edge technology. The developer will work with system administrators, security analysts, and customers to ensure that we produce high quality products that exceed expectations. The candidate should have in depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML language and modern JavaScript frameworks.  They should know how to use CSS selectors and be prepared to answer questions around fundamentals and layout design.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, integrate, and design new application systems and life cycle enhancements to existing multiplatform system
- Object-to-relational mapping tools such as Entity Framework and Spring.NET or StructureMap for loC patterns
- Design and develop client- and Server Side code for customer-facing web application.
- Interpret business and functional requirements into a strong design.
- Utilize Test Driven Development in an Agile development environment.
- Work closely with other developers, project manager, database administrators, and QA.
- Manage time effectively with minimal supervision to accurately scope projects and ensure that projects release on-time.
- Adding to and improving existing coding and development standards.
- Troubleshoot functionality and performance issues.
- Provide systems operational support, technical skills to monitor, operate and maintain technical infrastructure and test new methods, software, hardware, data flow and interfaces with existing systems.
- Implement web frameworks used to develop enhanced user experience
- Perform other essential duties as assigned
