Web/Database Developer

For our international end client in Rotterdam we are looking for a web/database developer.

Start: 25-03-2013
Duration: 3 months with an option to extend
Rate: 45/hr max

The primary function of the developer will be to work with the IRM Risk & Control Team to update an existing application for code scan remediation, bug fixes, and risk profile implementation.

These include but are not limited to:
- Development of web-forms
- Database schema updates
- Developing CSV & HTML/XML based exports/interfaces (in format compatible with Collective/Archer data upload engine)
- Updates to the application GUI
- Test plan development/management
- Deployment to production
- Post-production support and fixes

Technical Skills and Experience:

MANDATORY:
- Fully conversant with LAMP environment
- Proven track record in GUI development

OPTIONAL:
- Understanding of fast TTM development

Soft Skills and Experience:

MANDATORY:
- Self starter/ability to work mainly unsupervised
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Strong stakeholder management skills

OPTIONAL:
- Security/Information Risk Management in IT background
