Web Content Manager

The Web Content Manager is an exciting and dynamic role that works with Marketing and Product Managers to create Web and Email content for a variety of sites and applications. The content is primarily HTML documents, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery code. Web content is maintained in a Drupal CMS system or may be in a .NET application. The position will involve managing and mentoring other Web and Email Technical Producers. The Manager will have overall responsibility for the creation of Web site and Email content and the delivery of Email campaigns using industry email platforms including Drupal, Eloqua and StrongMail. The environment is fast-paced with multiple projects in process at the same time.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manages and mentors a team of talented technical producers
- Owns the Advertiser Website creation and maintenance process
- Owns company-wide commercial email production
- Creates HTML, CSS and JavaScript content for the Drupal CMS site
- Creates HTML & Text content for emails in StrongMail or other platforms
- Configures, tests and launches email campaigns
- Manages images, videos, PDF's and other web & email assets
- Creates content for display views in a .NET environment
- Assists in the maintenance of the CMS system
- Monitors and insures process flows are optimal and correct

SKILLS:

MANDATORY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- Prior experience as a technical producer or similar role
- Expert level knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Hands on experience with JavaScript and/or JQuery
- Prior experience hand coding HTML emails
- Prior hands on experience with Email delivery systems
- Strong technical acumen and interest in Internet technologies
- Prior hands on experience with content management systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years prior work experience in related fields
- Ability to manage, drive and complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Must be detail oriented

DESIRED CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience with the StrongMail or Eloqua Email platform
- Experience using and administering the Drupal CMS platform
- Prior experience with databases and SQL
- Prior experience with a Server Side Scripting language (PHP, Perl, C#, etc.)
- Prior experience with Photoshop
- Prior experience with Unix Shell
