Web Commerce Project Manager

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced technical Project Manager to join the Web Commerce Team. This position will apply project management best practices to ensure timely, in-scope and quality release delivery within budget. This individual will manage all the project activities, track progress of milestones and deliverables, identify and escalate risks and issues, and provide risk mitigation approaches from initiation through the pilot phases. He/she will also be managing the business analyst and interacting heavily with several cross functional teams such as the design/development, testing, deployment, support, and other product teams across all release and adoption phases.

THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITING TO THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
manage the requirement activities of business analyst
review requirements and create release scope document
manage product backlog for future scoping
create and maintain risk registers and issue log to ensure proper risk mitigation
create project charter and project milestone plan to govern code delivery and quality assurance
create release timeline to govern alignment
oversee the implementation of the project plans
oversee the design/development of the each release delivery
prepare weekly release status updates
manage change request and scope change
lead the triage meeting to resolve defects during testing cycles
work closely with adoption and deployment teams to provide insight into market localization and customization features
resolve issues and mitigate risks pertaining to product integration with offers engine, content management, campaign management, nutrition, locations, and Back End support systems
create adoption roadmaps to establish alignment with our customers
review, provide feedback and challenge unreasonable or unfavorable terms, cost and schedule in SOW
align with all other cross functional teams on release plan
potential travel

SKILLS:

Has a proven track record of delivering Web Commerce solution to both local and global markets. Possess outstanding project management, project planning, and organization skills coupled with strong technical experience on web commerce development. Excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate and lead discussions among cross functional groups. Enjoys working on a continuing changing environment and handle multiple parallel tracks of work.

REQUIREMENTS:
8-10+ years of experience in application development and operational processes
current 4-6+ years working experience in Web Commerce development on Desktop/Tablet and Mobile devices; this should include hands-on programming and technical project manager experience
must be a Technical PM that has come up through the ranks as a software developer (Java or Front End with Java) first.
needs to have an in-depth understanding of comparing the scope of work with supplier project estimates and have the ability to question them if the costs do not line up with the scope of the project.
global project experience preferred and enterprise implementation experience required.
working knowledge of the MVC software architectural pattern
understanding of JIRA work flows
Working knowledge and solid understanding of both waterfall and agile systems development methodology and life cycle
Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and processes
Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Knowledge of adoption and deployment processes preferred
4 year degree, preferably in Computer Science, or similar
ability to work in a diverse team environment across functional teams
Able to travel domestically and internationally
