Web Applications Software Engineer

URGENT Web Applications Developers - multiple roles - 6 month contract - Immediate start

My client, a fast growing organisation, are urgently seeking a number of accomplished web application developers to join their team.

Suitable candidates will be expected to demonstrate all of the essential requirements listed below, and as many of the desirable elements as possible. You should also be used to working on a project basis, within a team environment and will be expected to hit the ground running. In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with an excellent day rate and flexible working options.

Essential Skills / Experiene:

* Web Application Development
* HTML, CSS, Javascript
* Excellent programming ability
* Linux
* A good understanding of Ruby on Rails (do not require commercial experience in RoR but msut be able to demonstrate knowledge)
* The ability to see projects through to completion and previous experience working in a professional environment. (you should evidence this with recommendations, references and details of previous projects)

As well as being capable of demonstrating all of the above, your application will be enhanced if you can show you have experience with Git, design patterns such as MVC, networking technologies and Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
