Web Applications Developer - Reading - Up to 32K + Benefits

You will be working for a successful computer aided manufacturing software company based in Reading. They are market-leaders in providing a diverse portfolio of quality CAD/CAM products, which are distributed and supported in the UK and globally.

They have 5 offices in the UK, several in the US, and have subsidiaries and branches in Europe and the Far East.

The succesful candidate will be working as a Web Applications Developer, to be based in their Reading Office, reporting to the Group Business Systems Development Manager, continuing the development of their business systems necessary to provide them with robust and effective processes.

The main responsibilities are to develop specifications for the new systems based on discussions with the users, once the specifications have been agreed to then develop these systems using C#, ASP.Net. The main area of these systems is in the b2b area including online ordering. Other responsibilities include:

* Develop and maintain the integration between the Financial systems and CRM systems
* Develop b2b web based applications for use within the group and their world-wide customers and resellers
* Maintain and support existing web based applications

The primary skills required for the role are Teamserver, Visual Studio 2010, C#, ASP.net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML and Telrik controls with strong Microsoft SQL experience including Stored Procedures.

Ideally the candidate should have more than 3 years experience in developing web based applications.

Candidates should be self motivated, have a history of successfully delivering projects "in full and on time" in a commercial environment, able to work with in a small team and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as the position will require understanding users requirements and producing specifications.
