One of our Major Clients is urgently looking for a Web Applications Developer.

Scope of Work

Working in a Scrum team as web/application developer to implement enhancement requests and maintance work on variety of existing applications.

The web/application developer will participate to the following tasks:

- Develop Server Side software components using Java technology to implement business logic exposed as web services, database access logic and security logic; technology used includes JSE 1.6, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, iBatis, Oracle RDBMS;
- Develop client side software components using Java/Javascript/HTML/CSS technology; technology used may include JSF2.1 and JQuery.
- Use a test driven approach, develop unit testing and user interface test automation; technology used may include JUnit, EasyMock, Selenium, RobotFramework
- Analyse requirements and help the Scrum master translating them into tasks and backlog user stories;
- Participate where applicable to design tasks to enable implementation of complex features as documented in requirements specification;
- Document technical implementation according to standards set-up by the team lead;
- Challenge the solutions, in a constructive manner, and provide expertise in order to meet objectives of quality, to improve efficiency of development team and to deliver value to the business;

Skills:

Java programming language

JSF 2.1, xhtmls

HTML 5/CSS/JavaScript

JavaScript frameworks

Web services (SOAP/REST), client and server sides

Rational Databases (Oracle/SQL/PLSQL) and related Java APIs and frameworks

Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, VCs, Shell Scripting)
