For my banking client in Zürich, Switzerland we are currently looking for a

Web application Programmer

Role overview:

Development and maintenance of web application used by RDO DBAs.
Complete migration of Legacy ASP (WACIS) applications to DAP.

The open position is focused around delivering a web based tools for databases used mainly by RDO and application developers. The role also includes migration of existing ASP web applications to ASP. Net.

Key Deliverables

PeopleSoft Code: KO
- Development and Maintenance of Web GUIs & Web Services
- Development and Improvement of in-house tool set used by DB Operations

Strong: ASP (Classic), ASP.NET, JavaScript, Visual Studio
Working knowledge: Sybase ASE, MSSQL, Oracle

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

Essential:
- Structured Development
- Proven IT Infrastructure Engineering Skills
- Working Experience in Standardized Large and Distributed Environments
- Problem Solving and Cross-Technical Integration
- Testing, Documentation
- Work Experience in International Teams

Desirable:
- Working Experience in Large Financial Organizations

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential:

- Web Application Programming (ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML)
- Relational Database Servers Experience
- Experience User Account Management
- Structured Documentation

Desirable:
- Perl Programming
- Sybase Products (ASE, IQ, RS)
- MSSQL and Oracle experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:
- Ability to collaborate with people located in different regions
- Ability to communicate effectively between different time zones
- Ability to work efficient and drive results under pressure
