Web Analytics Manager

My client, a leading consumer brand based in Yorkshire, is looking to recruit a web analytics manager on an interim basis to support the department during a period of growth. My client is looking for a candidate who can support on the following activity:
Web analytics manager
• Provide analysis of customers' online behaviour to identify opportunities to improve the website to increase revenue. Using multiple tools and information sources, this includes analysis of referral sites, site usage paths and booking behaviour.
• Responsible for providing accurate, contractual forecasts of web traffic and revenue targets for the booking engine supplier.
• To provide analysis and recommendations on Search and Affiliate online acquisition activity. Working with agency partners, collate all data to provide insight and recommendations to the Marketing team.
• Create a collaborative working environment with the Commercial Analyst(s) and Marketing team to ensure that the Commercial Team's analysis requirements are achieved, workload is balanced and succession plans are supported.
• Identify and extract relevant customer extracts for service emails and online research purposes. Ensure data in the online database is structured, maintained and updated to accommodate new data feeds.
• Ensure that all data held within the online customer database meets all contractual obligations.
• Evaluate the impact of any downtime or slow running of the website on passenger revenue and ensure such instances are dealt with by our supplier and accurately quantified
• Proactively identify where management information available from the Internet and retail systems and the online customer database can be exploited elsewhere in the business.
