WEB ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

- Linux Administration
- Web Server Administration

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support of Linux/Apache Tomcat/DNS and PHP based services, Content Delivery technologies, Aicache, Memcache, Drupal, LAMP, keepalived (and other relevant technologies)
- Familiar with Virtualization Environments using Xen/Qemu/KVM/Openstack.
- Setup and manage websites's aiCache Web acceleration Servers.
- Maintain and enhance the monitoring framework (Zabbix).
- Responsible for the security of web resources by adhering to all applicable company policies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of all web-enabled applications.
- Perform Network admin roles, such as maintaining Routers and Switches, building VLANS,
- Perform typical operating systems administration tasks.
- Systems Support/Maintenance on RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience Designing, Engineering, and implementing critical web infrastructure
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive 'Can-do' attitude
- Ability to perform as Level 3/Senior Linux admin.
- Candidate should be able to think 'outside the box' and troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges.
- Web Server Administration and troubleshooting with knowledge of Apache/Tomcat.
- Hands-on knowledge of networking principles, configuration, troubleshooting and installation
- Experience with CLI configuration of Cisco or Brocade Switches and Routers very helpful but not required.
- Proficiency in at least one Scripting language is a plus
- Understanding of OS hardening and Web security approaches
- Capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
