Water Quality Data Analyst - STW base near to you

Do you have an analytical scientific background in chemistry or biology and looking for a part time role?
If so we have an excellent part time opportunity with flexible hours and location to suit within a FTSE 100 company for our Water Quality team.

About the role

You will be responsible for supporting our Water Quality Advisors and Customer Contact Centre in improving distribution water quality compliance and customer acceptability through pro-active and reactive management.

This will involve actively monitoring customer contact trends and identifying actions and solutions to prevent deterioration in water quality. You will also provide root cause analysis and identifying short and long term solutions when a customer water quality related complaint is received.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months initially offering circa 22 hours. We are flexible and can agree the number of days per week to suit the ideal candidate. We are also flexible on the location and can find a Severn Trent Water base close to the ideal candidate's home to suit.

About you

This is an analytical focussed role looking at large sets of scientific and microbiology data. Therefore experience or qualification in Chemistry or Biology is essential.

You will need excellent numerical and analytical skills with high standards of written communication. MS Office, in particular Excel and other IT systems are regularly used, good IT skills are required.
