Waste Inventory Lead

A great opportunity has arisen for a bright, proactive individual to work as a Waste Inventory Lead within the Nuclear Industry. If you have a proven track record working with waste inventory, this could be the role for you.

Our client is a waste management company that provides services to customers to treat and dispose of low level radioactive waste; they oversee a national programme to ensure that lower activity waste is managed

The role would suit a self-motivated and technically able individual to join the Inventory Team to deliver a wide range of projects and to manage elements of the ongoing work. Primarily the role will focus on leading activities associated with Sellafield Ltd as well as supporting the wider organisation such as the Environmental Safety Case and Waste Acceptance.

Supporting the Waste Inventory Manager your key responsibilities will include;

* Deputising for the Waste Inventory Manager as and when required. Providing direct support to the Environmental Safety Case team for all waste inventory related matters, such as waste acceptance, capacity management and statistical modelling. Supporting the generation of a number of dashboards and reports for a range of stakeholders. Supporting the preparation, analysis and reporting of inventory data sets for site and the wider industry. Supporting audits of customers waste inventory arrangements at customer sites, such as SMART inventory style reviews. Liaison with customers, supply chain and stakeholders to collate data and information to support the delivery of programme enabling work packages associated with Waste Inventory and the wider National Waste Programme. Provide support, as required, to the wider Science and Engineering/Waste Management Services organisations
