Warehouse Systems Lead

WAREHOUSE SYSTEMS LEAD

Our top 20 global pharmaceutical client is looking for a warehouse systems lead to support them on a €100mil investment project in China. Our client is designing and installing a new warehouse to be fully automated, integrated with logistics execution software, warehouse management, material management and site manufacturing software.

Role:

- Lead the full project life cycle for the installation of the new warehouse logistics system.
- Define a URS working collaboratively with a global team.
- Establish correct specifications based on URS and design plans.
- Work closely with the vendor to ensure correct programming, testing of system and oversee any troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure that the new system is integrated with manufacturing, logistics, materials management, SAP and inventory management systems.
- Work closely with the site management team to complete set up of the system including safety documentation, validation, and reporting.
- Ensure the warehouse system is compliant with GMP and FDA requirements.
- Establish best practice in operations and maintenance with associated data collection and knowledge dissemination.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience working in the (bio-) pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- A strong background working within a logistics or warehouse systems.
- Previous experience of new system rollouts advantageous.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, previous experience with international projects/teams advantageous.
- Fluent English language skills required.
