Warehouse Operative/Storeman

Warehouse Operative/Storeman required for a world leading Oil and Gas Company based out of Aberdeen for an initial 3 month contract. Candidates will be working in a team-based services environment performing a wide variety of tasks including preparing parts for shipment and receiving goods inwards from various locations while maintaining an environment that sets a high expectation on Safety and Quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

Pick inventory items to support internal and external customer orders.

Maintain Stock Control

Pack customer orders for domestic, ground and ocean shipment.

Ensure proper and accurate accounting of all inventories and reconcile as necessary.

Ensure all available orders are shipped on a daily basis.

Practice safe work habits to ensure an injury-free environment.

Be actively involved with safety audits, near miss/first aid reports, safety hazard training, and Safety 10 Commandments.

Maintain ISO standards within the zone

Qualifications/Requirements

Move stock around by hand or Forklift

Skills and Experience required

* Previous experience of working in a Warehouse Environment

* Experience of working within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment

Desirable Skills and Experience

* Previous experience of working in an Oil and Gas role

* Forklift Truck licences desirable but not mandatory
