Warehouse Materials Handler - Amsterdam - Contract - 6-12 months - Excel, WMS

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Materials Handler to work for a well established ICT company based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in a central location. 

Our client is ideally looking for someone who has experience of handling goods within the ICT industry - telecoms equipment, software etc. The successful candidate will deals with inbound and outbound shipments, pick and prepare parts, log, control and report; assist with inventory control and organise warehouse space; assist with assembly, completion and redeployment of parts; attend meetings all the while adhering to all aspects of Health and Safety within the Warehouse environment. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

- Preferably a higher level qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics
- 2-3 years Warehouse experience with materials handling and inventory control essential
- Experience of a Warehouse Management System such as Highjump or similar
- Working without direct supervision
- Experience of Electronics/Telecoms hardware 
- Experience of effectively handling and resolving customer queries
- Excellent English language skills and ideally Dutch also
- Excellent organisation and business administration skills

The Materials Handler will be required to work additional hours to cover busy periods which may include evening and/or weekends. You will also have to be able to travel at short notice with a valid driver's license and insurance coverage.
