Warehouse Laborers/Ice Operator Job

WAREHOUSE LABORERS/ICE OPERATOR needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located in, Martinez, CA

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Material Handling and Industrial experience
- Ability to work Shift: Sat-Wed 4pm - 12am or 12am - 8am. Must be open for both

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assists and works closely with company Technicians with daily facility needs.
- All phases of manufacture, processing and loading finished dry ice in block and pellet form
- Washing, cleaning and storing of Dry ice block and pellet boxes
- Facility record keeping and documentation as delegated by shift supervisor
- Studying Work specific Standard Operating Procedures, P&ID's, PFD's, and all other technical documentation as relates to Dry Ice operational or equipment processes
- Completes fully the individual initial documentation for site-specific training needs
- Active participation in facility safety meetings and inspections
- Facility Operations and Customer Relations Development
- Identifies potential maintenance and repair needs and communicate them to the Production Technician
- Drive a fork lift and operate a lift jack

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must pass pre-employment physical examination to be able to safely able to handle, to lift and otherwise physically manage a 60lbs Dry ice block for the assigned work schedule (typically 8 hour to 10 hours)
- Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, ear protection safety shoes/boots (metatarsal), and FRC clothing
- Criminal background check and drug test that must be passed.
- Must have drivers license and closed toe shoes for interview.
