Under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for managing the in/outflows of inventory from the warehouse; maintaining a high level of efficiency and safety while handling the movement of inventory; keeping accurate records of all materials. Additional responsibilities include vehicle staging, inventory pick-up/delivery, and performing cycle counts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Generate purchase orders and place orders with appropriate vendors
2) Ensure that appropriate inventory quantities are on hand at all times
3) Receive, count and stock items and record transactions in SCEO
4) Post and receive purchase orders in SCEO
5) Pull parts for field technicians and record transactions in inventory management program
6) Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and prepare invoices for payment
7) Occasionally drive to retrieve parts from vendors or deliver parts to customers and field technicians
8) Assist in counting of warehouse and truck inventories
9) Sweep, dust, mop and organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times
10) Prepare parcels for mailing and larger items for shipping
11) Assist in fleet maintenance
12) Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL:
1 year warehouse experience
1-3 years professional office experience
PREFERRED
1-3 years pool service industry experience
Experience working with a fast-growing, cyclical organization
