VULNERABILITY SPECIALIST/ENGINEER | 6-12 MONTHS | BRUSSELS

I am currently working with a very exciting financial client based in Brussels who is in urgent need of a skilled Vulnerability Specialist/Engineer to work on a potentially long term engagement.

As a Vulnerability Specialist/Engineer you will be expected to have the ability to undertake the following responsibilities.

- Lead Vulnerability Management and Security Compliance Checks service for identifying vulnerabilities on critical Infrastructure assets.
- Team up with the Risk Management department and Stakeholders on Vulnerability Assessments and Remediation.
- Play a key role in security incident/investigations and critical alerts management.
- Provide guidance on development of audit files for Security Compliance Checks of operating systems, data bases, infrastructure and applications based on security best practices and standards;
- Assist in the design, implementation, testing and deployment of Vulnerability Management and Security Compliance Checks Project on the Regional Data Centre;
- Define Request for Change' procedures for scanning processes.
- Installation of new security applications assessing the modification impact.
- Team up with Network Operations Team to whitelist network flows for new security applications.
- Assist in integrating vulnerability scanners with SIEM.
- Coordinate Infrastructure and Web application pen testing.
- Guide the deployment of Vulnerability Management architecture within the cloud keeping its management interface on premises;
- Keep up-to-date with cyber-attack techniques, trends and countermeasures.

Requirements

- Experience working in a similar position with a financial organisation is ideal but not necessary.
- Experience using Nessus or Qualys Vulnerability scanners
- Ability to work on site in Brussels.
