VP Java Developer - Equities System - NYC Bank - 165k

On a day to day basis, this team will be responsible for building a top of the line real-time OMS platform that will be used by the front-office business users within the equity trading space. This is a business critical role and the ideal candidate must have experience working in a middle or front-office IT team and have excellent communication skill. The senior Java Developer needs to be deadline driven and be able to work with a team to fulfill all projects successfully and on schedule.

For this particular role, the candidate will need the following qualifications:

- 5-7 years using Core Java server-side
- Experience working on middle or front office Equity IT teams
- In-depth knowledge of Multithreading Applications
- Financial IT experience working on real-time systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
