Volte IMS Technical Engineer

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for skilled VOLTE IMS technical resources for an exciting new programme in Stockholm for a Mobile Network Operator to deliver Network solutions.

Good working knowledge of 3G MPC elements (GGSN, SGSN, DNS) and associated interfaces, including key protocols including GTP, Radius, Diameter, RANAP and MAP.
Good working knowledge of 3G networks on an end to end basis.
Experience of deployment of key network systems through the delivery life cycle from initial design to full operational handover.
Up to date understanding of the LTE network as well as key associated technologies and functionality including IMS, RCSe, VOLTE and CSFB.

Nice to Haves:
Experience of the commercial deployment of EPC, which could include design, test and/or deployment.
Experience of working with core network systems.
Working knowledge of IP Networks, preferably with experience with the prime IP vendor equipment's
Vendor management skills and experience.
Project life cycle understanding.

Nice to have support skills:
for IP-PBX integration. Analysing SIP traces and configuration/logs in ACME (Oracle) SBCs.
Implementation of new nodes, such as new I-SBCs and VoLTE related nodes
New release certifications (IPWorks 14B, IMS 15A/B).
Periodic tasks: HSS deletion of inactive RCS subscribers, CSCF/DNS test bed support, SIP tracing support,
Generation of technical documentation.

Good understanding of Operational and Business support systems.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Good practical skills in troubleshooting and fault resolution.
