Void Property Repair Co-Ordinator - East Ayrshire - 3 Months+

VOID PROPERTY REPAIR CO-ORDINATOR - EAST AYRSHIRE - 3 MONTHS

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced void property repair Co-ordinator based in East Ayrshire. This post is ideally looking for someone to start in December 2015 and will go until 31st March 2015 (initially).

You will be expected to co-ordinate the void property team to deliver a quality void property repairs service in accordance with the lettable standards policy in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Evidence of continuing professional development and management skills, eg through training, qualification eg HNC and/or experience
- A proven track record of co-ordinating and delivering a void property repair service
- Experience of performance management and service improvement in a customer focused organisation
- Effective knowledge of financial resources
- Competent IT. skills
- Knowledge and understanding of building industry regulations
- Manage time economically and effectively.
- Ability to effectively balance competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to lead, co-ordinate and motivate colleagues
- Ability to work in a high activity environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and work practices.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Experience of working in a politically sensitive environment
- Understanding of performance culture within Scottish Housing.
- Experience of Microsoft Office
- Awareness of CDM Regulations and practice
- Driving licence
