VOICE AND DATA ENGINEER.
OUR CLIENT IS A LARGE FINANCIAL COMPANY LOOKING TO RECRUIT AN EXPERIENCED VOICE AND DATA ENGINEER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM. THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION LOCATED IN DUBLIN.
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist in maintaining PBX, ACD, Voice Mail, CDR and Voice Recording Systems in sites supported by the Voice section in Ireland. The successful candidate will be working within the current team in an environment that includes Customer Service Centre, Dealing Room and Back Office. Receiving MAC instruction, problem tickets via VirtualTech/ResolveIT, liaising with customer, vendors and ensuring that all necessary records are maintained will also play a large part in this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor Virtual Tech queues for all supported sites.
- Complete move add and change requests received via ResolveIT system within SLO.
- Maintain tidy telecom patch frames
- Review and Update documentation
- Maintain structured cabling.
- Maintain telephone cabling.
- Complete system checks and backups for all supported sites.
- Adhere too and update processes and procedures.
- Assist with Voice and Data Projects
- Vendor Management
- Assist in management of Data networks
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Good knowledge of Avaya PBX, Voice Mail and ACD and Cisco networks.
- Background in similar environment
COMPETENT IN MS OFFICE:
- Excel
- Word
- Visio
QUALIFICATIONS:
Third level IT related qualification or experience in similar role.
