Vmware/Unix/Linux Engineer

VMWARE/UNIX/LINUX ENGINEER   3/6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT - EXTENSION OPTIONS  BRISBANE CBD - IMMEDIATE START! 

Our client is a large Australian retail institution. They are seeking an additional Linux/Unix  Systems Engineer with VMWare skills to join their team. The role backs up and supports their existing Engineers who are heavily involved in project work. This role is predominantly level 3 BAU support.
Projects are large scale, highly complex and ongoing.  

Essential Criteria;

VMWare essential Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal UNIX/LINUX RHEL 5+ years (5.X & 6.X) Solaris Squid Bash/Shell/Perl Scripting Virtual Environments (VMWare/IBM PowerVM) IBM AIX
Industry certs preferred - RHL/Solaris/HPUX/SAN/VMWare

This role is available for an IMMEDIATE start for the right candidate - a Brisbane CBD based  position. Initial Client expectations are for 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extensions. 
Candidates nearing the end of current contracts with 1 - 2 weeks availability will also be considered. Immediately available would be preferred for a handover option.
