Vmware Systems Administrator

Work with a small local team, provide technical support in a VMWare Systems Administration position.

This role supports VMWare systems on multiple accounts on different platforms.

After hours support is required on a rostered basis.

Responsibilities:

- Provide BAU support for multi VMWare systems
- Work with problem & change tools - eg. Maximo, ManageNow, CPMA, Infoman
- Security compliance
- Policy compliance
- Use your virtual server concepts such as VMWare & Xen
- Juggle priorities
- Work with limited supervision.

Your background:

- Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound (just checking you are reading this!)
- OS system administration
- H/W configuration
- System installation and configuration
- VMWare certification or accreditation eg. VTSP/VCP
- Support VMWare in development of production env
- Knowledge of open source products
- VMWare SRM
- VMWare DRS, VMotion, Lab Manager, VCloud Director, VCloud Suite

Australian citizenship is a requirement of this position.
