Vmware/Storage Engineer

Duties Include:
* The use of various tools to monitor the infrastructure (HW & OS).
* Perform daily checks on storage systems.
* Review and Install critical system updates.
* Manage day-to-day administration of customer infrastructure tasks
* Work to SLA's to resolve VM related and storage related issues.
* Provide technical infrastructure support for customers.
* Evaluation, handling and resolution of Infrastructure technical issues, in such a way that the problems are always registered and carried out to SLA's, actions and solutions are communicated via available tools.
* Administer Wintel Server infrastructure.
* Administer multiple VM environments
* This role will be predominately support focussed rather than project based but is not limited to.

-Vmware 3.5, 4.0, 4.1, 5.0 including VCP certification.
-Microsoft Hyper-V including relevant MS virtualisation Certifications.
-Experience with all Citrix products Xen Server, Xen App Xen Desktop

(relevant certifications desirable)
-Expert in Windows 2003 / 2008 Server and Windows 7 and various Linux OS. (relevant certifications desirable)
-Experience supporting the following storage technologies:
-Equalogic
-EVA
-HP/Lefthand
-Hitachi storage solutions (desirable)
-Netapp (desirable)
