Vmware Specialist Urgently Required

Virtualisation (VMware) Specialist: Virtualisation (VMware) Specialist URGENTLY REQUIRED for contract role

My client is looking for a VMWare specialist who can start immediately. You will have at least 5 years commercial experience of working with VMWare.

Essential Requirements:

*Demonstrable experience using VMware vSphere 5.x's products and services (vCenter, ESXi, SRM etc), ideally with a VCP.

*Experience of HP or other blade server environments.

*Experience of operating within an ITIL framework.

*A good understanding of storage (including boot from SAN) and network infrastructure.

*Knowledge of Upgrading Windows (2003, 2008 R2, 2012) operating systems including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning is essential.

*Knowledge of Microsoft clustering and other Microsoft products would be beneficial.

*A good team player with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills able to work with other IT and business professionals in an effective manner.

*Demonstrable technical solution design skills and a good understanding of technology developments.
