Vmware Solution Architect

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A VMWARE SOLUTION ARCHITECT FOR LONG TERM CONTRACT FOR MY CLIENT BASED IN AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS.

JOB SUMMARY:

Server Build (Windows Server 2003/2008/2012)

Builds high quality solutions that meet client requirements and can be delivered profitably. Plan and gather information in order to define system objectives.

Support the pre-sales and the actual delivery activities.

Prioritizes his/her time to focus on highly qualified, larger opportunities with target prospects.

Enumerate and articulate TCO and ROI supporting investments in Server and Virtualization.

RFP calls with relevant Vertical SPOC/clients to identify and analyze potential opportunities for Server and Virtualization.

Engage with clients facilitating workshops to jointly develop understanding of their environment, synthesizes findings, draws and presents conclusions.

Develop High Level Solution and effort estimates for client proposals for Sever and Virtualization.

Design and Implement the proposed solution for Sever and Virtualization. Solution to be inline and accurate or near accurate.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Experience in Solution Architecture and proven ability to design and implement medium and large solutions in Serververbal, written and presentation skills creativity, flexibility and openness to alternative technical and commercial approaches to consulting work
