Vmware Platform Specialist (C5)

Finite Canberra has a Government client that is seeking a VMware Platform Specialist starting ASAP until 31 August 2013 - option to extend until 28 Feb 2014.

For this Role you must be an Australian Citizen with a current Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage, monitor, maintain and enhance various processing environments across multiple security domains
- Manage the platform environments supporting all BPC Command Support Systems including tactical platforms

SPECIALIST PLATFORM MANAGEMENT SKILLS:

- Experience with Windows Operating and Server systems,  EMC CLARiiON and VMware vSphere AND  in the design, development and deployment of SOE workstations;
- Advanced report writing skills.

EXPERIENCE:

- Relevant experience providing detailed engineering support (level 3) as part of a technical support team.
- Infrastructure support for mission critical applications.
- Current Microsoft and VMware Engineering certification or equivalent experience
