Vmware/Infrastructure Engineer (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Use and Manage kickstart to install ESX (the kickstart files are built through puppet)
-Configure and manage HP Blade Centers using Virtual Connect for Ethernet and SAN
-Understanding of HP Blade Center command line and scripting with it
-Understanding of VMWare API's and scripting with it (Python preferred but not required)
-Maintain our Distributed Virtual Switch Environment that contains a large number of VLANS (around 100)
-General management of our 3 VMWare datacenters

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Have built a 20+ node ESX Version 5+ environment using a similar hardware stack (3Par specific experience less important but SAN required and Virtual Connect highly sought after)
-Reasonably good command of a scripting language (Python preferred, Perl/Bash OK)
-Large scale Linux administration experience
-Experience with GIT/Subversion or other Source Code Control Systems
-Basic Puppet Knowledge and GlusterFS experience

(nice to have) -Nice to have: Netapp and NAS Migration Experience
(from one vendor to another IE NetApp to GlusterFS)
