VMWARE EXPERT needed for a ELEVEN (11) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Barrington, IL

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- VMWare infrastructure installation, configuration and administration of vCenter, ESXi, DRS, VDS, HA, FT
- Windows Server infrastructure installation, configuration and administration. MS Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
- Integration of Servers with SAN storage (EMC, DELL, HP), SAN Switches, HBA, mapping and multipathing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work as part of a highly technical team to develop High Availability, Disaster Recovery (geo separation), Scalability, Datacenter failover automation for Web and database applications built on VMWare, Windows Server, RedHat AS 6.5, MS SQL Server, Sybase SQL Server and Traffic Managers from A10 & F5 running on DELL & HP rack and blade Servers integrated with many types of SANs and 10Gb network Switches.
- Document install/config procedures, write scripts in CLI (PowerShell, etc.) to automate install/config and failover, test the setup, document the design and test results.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Over seven (7) years of experience as VMWare infrastructure installation, configuration and administration of vCenter, ESXi, DRS, VDS, HA, FT.
- Over seven (7) years of experience as Windows Server infrastructure installation, configuration and administration. MS Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 experience required.
- Over seven (7) years of experience in Network planning, Technical Design and Deployment including IP Addressing and troubleshooting.
- Experience in planning, design and implementation of High Availability, Disaster Recovery (geo separation), business continuity and automation of failover.
- Experience with installation of X86 Servers, both rack and blade, from DELL and HP.
- Experience with integration of Servers with SAN storage (EMC, DELL, HP), SAN Switches, HBA, mapping and multipathing

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior experience/skills with Itrinegy WAN emulator, MS SQL Server replication is a plus.
- Experience with MS SQL Server 2008, Oracle and Web applications in High Availability deployments is highly desired
