VMWARE EXPERT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BARRINGTON, IL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- VMWare infrastructure installation, configuration and administration of vCenter, ESXi, DRS, VDS, HA, FT
- Windows Server infrastructure installation, configuration and administration. MS Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
- Integration of Servers with SAN storage (EMC, DELL, HP), SAN Switches, HBA, mapping and multipathing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design/redesign VMWare environment for a test lab running multiple interconnected, scalable and highly available enterprise grade applications based on WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS/C#, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server.
- Install, configure, upgrade VMWare environment - vCenter, HA, SRM and Windows server environment - 2008,2012, cluster.
- Install, configure, upgrade GE HCIT Enterprise applications (training provided).
- TECHNOLOGIES: VMWARE 5.5 (vCenter, HA, DRS, SRM), Windows 2008/2012 Server, PowerShell/PowerCLI.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Designed and managed VMWare environment using vCenter, HA, DRS, SRM on high end server, SAN and network infrastructure running hundreds of VMs for multiple enterprise applications.
- Managed Windows server environment within the VMWare environment. Install, configure, patch. IIS, Clustering, AD, DNS, etc.
- Extensive Scripting knowledge is a must in PowerShell/PowerCLI
