Vmware Administrator (Contract) for my Client Based in Amsterdam, NL

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A VMWARE ADMINISTRATOR FOR LONG TERM CONTRACT FOR MY CLIENT BASED IN AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS.

Job Summary:

Administration of VMware and virtualization related systems tools

Identify and take ownership of initiatives to improve the VMware infrastructure

Ensure the effective resolution of VMware related incidents and service requests respecting the defined SLAs

Analyse problems, provide workarounds and/or find solutions

Monitoring, analysis and Escalation of critical incidents to the support and colleagues.

Ability to work with customers and maintain a professional attitude and provide good customer service.

Participate in on-call rotation support and be flexible in availability as needed

Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent fundamental knowledge in VMware and virtualization.

3-5 years' experience with VMware.

4-6 years of relevant technical experience in virtualization

Good technical, documentation and communication skills

Language: English (Dutch is a bonus)

Experience of working within an ITIL aligned environment
