Vmware Administrator

VMWARE ADMINISTRATOR Dallas, TX Contract Opportunity

- Install, configure, and maintain VMware ESXi Servers.
- Apply patches and updates on ESXi Servers.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize virtualization performance of ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft, Citrix, and Linux virtual machine templates.
- Assist with new system design, testing, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot and provide problem resolution of software issues
- Review and create supplemental documentation for support staff

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent training/education required
- 5 to 7 years customer service related experience required
- P2V experience required
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and Internet directory services software
