OUR DIRECT CLIENT, A LARGE FORTUNE 500 COMPANY, IS IN NEED OF A VENDOR ANALYST TO FILL A 12-MONTH CONTRACT POSITION IN THEIR VMO IN IRVINE, CA, EXTENSION LIKELY. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A STRONG DATA ANALYSIS BACKGROUND, RANGING FROM SIMPLE DATA AGGREGATION VIA STATISTICAL ANALYSIS TO COMPLEX DATA MINING. TOP SKILLS. EXCEL. REMEDY. SHAREPOINT (POWER USER - ABILITY TO NAVIGATE AND CHECK IN/OUT DOCUMENTS.. POWERPOINT (TO HELP BUILD PRESENTATIONS). STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS (SR. MANAGER/DIRECTOR LEVEL).. EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH "INFRASTRUCTURE" ORIENTED VENDORS - SLA'S, METRICS, PERFORMANCE.. DEGREE IS PREFERRED. FINANCIAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS.

Overtime : straight time

- Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.
- Design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions.
- Work directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
- Good understanding of IT terminology and infrastructure-related terms.
- Requires 4-6 years of experience.

- SharePoint (Power User - ability to navigate and check in/out documents.
- PowerPoint (to help build presentations)
- Strong communication skills (Sr. Manager/Director level).
- Experience working with "Infrastructure" oriented vendors - SLA's, Metrics, Performance.
